"Angels Of
Venice "
The
major label debut of the exotic all female New Age group The Angels
Of Venice. Recorded in Los Angeles by Florian Ammon, this CD was
co-produced by Brian Keane with the group's leader Carol Tatum.
The album was mixed at Little Big Feet Studios in Monroe CT by
Jeffrey Lesser, Tom Bates, and Brian Keane. "Angels Of Venice"
is rich in textures, with bouzouki and hammered dulcimer accompanying
the band's basic configuration of harp, flute, percussion, keyboards
and cello. Guest musicians include Lorena McKennitt's bandmates
Hugh Marsh and Brian Hughes, "Titanic" piper Eric Rigler, and
Middle Eastern master musician Faruk Tekbilek, among others.
