beautiful, atmospheric collection of the classic Christmas carols.
Standouts include "We Three Kings" by Marion Meadows
with Middle-Eastern musicians and an adventurous arrangement,
"Dona Nobis Pacem" played by classical clarinetist Dick
Stoltzman with African rhythm section and children's choir, and
"Ave Maria" played on harmonica by Will Galison with
Brazillian guitarist Toninho Horta. Most selections are produced
and arranged by Brian Keane, who produced the compilation and
also appears as an artist on the final cut. "Carols Of Christmas"
has been highly popular, selling over 400,000 units, and appeared
for 8 weeks on the Billboard New Age, Top 200, and Christmas charts.
It continues to sell well every Christmas season.
