and Everywhere: The Songs Of The Beatles"
When
Brian Keane was talking with the late guitarist Michael Hedges
on the phone about contributing a cut to the first "Summer
Solstice" record, Michael joked "What's next, ‘Rubber Solstice'?".
Well, in a way, "Rubber Solstice" came to pass. Brian produced
only two cuts on this CD: the Angels Of Venice cover of "Within
You, Without You" (co-produced with Carol Tatum), which also appears
on their CD "Angels Of Venice",
and an unusual and musically adventurous take on "Blackbird",
by guitarist Sean Harkness with Tuck & Patti. Snuffy Walden's
rendition of "You Won't See Me" is also a standout.
