"Stephen King's
'The Night Flier'"
Director
Mark Pavia's vampire thriller "Night Flier", released
theatrically by New Line Cinema, provided an opportunity to write
music on the outer edge. Pavia prefers music that is eerily luring
as well as strange. Brian Keane's score to "Night Flier"
rates among his most innovative compositional work, combining
sophisticated harmony and orchestrational techniques with haunting
melodies. Standouts include the title track, the eerie "Ray
& Ellen Sarch", "Flight To Wilmington", the
terrifying psychedelic "Hell", and the surprisingly
moving adagio "Never Believe What You Publish, Never Publish
What You Believe (Katherine's Theme)". Perfect for Halloween!
