"Snowfalls"
Originally
recorded in 1985 and released as a vinyl album on the Flying Fish
label, Brian Keane performs an entirely solo guitar set with no
overdubs, although at times it sounds as though several guitars
are playing simultaneously. This is Brian Keane's first commercially
released record as a featured artist. Standouts include "A Child
Is Born", the title cut "Snowfalls", "Cast Your Fate To The Wind",
and "Some Other Time". Recorded live to two-track by John Montagnese
at the Carriage House, Stamford CT.

Reviews:
Billboard: "Recommended...Solo six and twelve-string guitar
originals, recorded live with no overdubs. Title track is perfect
mood setter for fireplace nights"
Frets Magazine: "Highly regarded guitarist Keane presents
a set of thematic music that, though not strictly related to the
holidays, sets a wintry mood, thanks to the title cut. Most of
the compositions are Keane's. One outstanding exception is his
beautiful improvisation on "Cast Your Fate To The Wind", which
features sparkling harmonic passages. The recording presence of
Keane's guitars, especially the nylon-strings, is exceptional
as well."
The Stamford Advocate: "Magnificent, virtuostic guitar
playing...."
