On Ice"
Another
in the long line of successful "Winter
Solstice" CDs for Windham Hill, this disc is a special
two-disc set that accompanies an A&E ice skating special shot
on location in northern Finland during the aurora borealis. The
opening cut was specially written by Brian Keane for an ensemble
of Windham Hill artists to be skated to during the special. The
first disc is more standard Windham Hill fare, the second disc
features such pop artists as Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, and
others. "Winter Solstice On Ice" was the #1 New Age
record on the Billboard charts.
